Burn That Fat Fast - Here's How to Do It!

Burn that fat fast!

Isn't this the rallying cry of everyone who's ever been overweight?

"Just show me a fast easy way to get this darn fat off. I hate it. I hate how I look. I hate being a fattie, often the secret brunt of other people's jokes. I hate being discriminated against because of my weight… but losing weight is always such a struggle".

And usually it is a struggle isn't it?

But it doesn't always have to be…

We first have to decide that it's finally time to do something about it… often after a lot of snide little digs from friends, spouses or significant others. Often we get shamed into doing what we want to do anyway. But we resist because we just don't want to go through all that pain and torture and denial and the ongoing struggle to be strong.

Only you can make the decision to go ahead and do it! Why not now? Why not start today?

Eating is a physical addiction with an emotional trigger. We eat to stay alive obviously… but we also eat for emotional comfort. We want to ease the stress from the often overwhelming busyness of our lives, the struggle to raise our children, money fears, feelings of inadequacy… the list is endless. I'll just stop here or I'll need to write a book.

And then overeating becomes a comforting habit that we engage in without thinking.

We feel overwhelmed and we reach for a snack.

But it's even more than this. Eating is also a powerful physical addiction usually brought on by eating the wrong sorts of foods. High Glycemic foods like processed carbs, sugars and potatoes (our favorites) are what created this whole overweight condition in the first place… they screw up our metabolism and get turned to fat much more readily than slow release foods. We love them because they just give us so much bang for the buck.

The impact from high GI foods is instantaneous and we love instant gratification. To hell with this: "wait 20 minutes and you wont feel hungry garbage". I want it… and I want it now.

I have learned that if you can remove the carbohydrate addiction then the rest is easy.

I can show you how to do this!

If you're interested I can show you a plan to make this a reality in your life; you'll lose weight and you won't be hungry! I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction and losing weight.

Fast Weight Loss - No Hunger - Here's A Surefire Plan!

There should be "no hunger" while you're trying to lose weight.

Hunger is the killer!

Hunger will knock you right off your program!

Here's what happened to me…

I was out of town visiting with my son and his wife last week. We had some great meals. I ate whatever I felt like. I came home and I had gained 5 pounds… not a disaster but this is how it all starts again.

I determined to blow those 5 pounds off and began on a weight loss program of a protein meal replacement drink in the morning plus minimal processed carbs throughout the rest of the day.

That was fine for 5 days but this morning I was rushed and busy so I had a mug of tea and a banana. Oh-ohh! Bananas are high GI foods.

It's important to avoid those High Glycemic Index foods like processed carbs, potatoes and sugar. I call them "High GI" to make the typing easier. They spike your blood sugar and start off the carb craving yo-yo.

And that's exactly what happened to me!

An hour later I was hungry… so I was planning a coffee plus some nuts. The next thing I know I'm putting two squares of dark chocolate in with the nuts!

And I'm eating them too, while I type this… I'm not a masochist. Dark chocolate is barely acceptable, but I'm hoping the nuts will create enough slow release blood sugar that I won't be triggered to go for more carbs later.

So what happened here?

I let myself get hungry!

But here's where I went wrong. Instead of starting the day with a low GI shake or a handful of nuts… some form of low GI protein… I went for a banana and caffeine and I spiked my blood sugar.

And then I wanted more carbs or sugar.

I had spiked my blood sugar, the insulin kicked in and pretty soon I was craving carbs.

Studies show that if we start the day with a high GI breakfast we will on average eat 80% more calories that day.

There's a good lesson here for me!

Avoid high GI foods and I won't spike my blood sugar. If I don't spike my blood sugar I won't get the carb craving. If I start the day with a "high protein-high fiber" meal I won't get hungry enough to slip off the plan.

If you're interested I can show you a plan to make this a reality in your life; you'll lose weight and you won't be hungry!

Burn That Belly Fat Fast - Without All That Exhausting Exercise!

Do you hate your Belly Fat?

I think we all do! This is the era of looking good, feeling good and having fun... and belly fat just doesn't fit that picture.

And have you noticed how everywhere you turn there's some health nut telling you it can't be done without the sit-ups and crunches and all that other torture?

Sure you'll get great abs that way, if you work hard enough at it. But you give up half your life and if they're still hidden under all that belly flab you've pretty much struck out. In my book it's better to look slim with just average abs than have all that lard on my belly.

Let's take a look at how the body works and how we can use that information to help us burn off that fat.

The job of insulin in the body is to act as a key that opens up the muscles and lean tissues to accept glucose from the blood.

One interesting fact is that regular medium-cardio exercise will stimulate the muscles to start letting your insulin do its work again, so the blood sugar starts to go into the muscles instead of on your belly.

So this could be step one… think about gradually building up to walking 20 to 30 minutes, 3 to 5 days a week. But just think about how you would handle this for now-you can take the drastic step of actually doing it in a while.

When you don't exercise or you eat too much for a protracted time, one of the areas which naturally shows this excess more than others is the belly. This is because when the muscles become insulin resistant the fat is first deposited around the belly area.

But it takes an enormous amount of exercise to take off weight… way more than most overweight people can get their mind around.

Modern scientific thought is that obesity is mainly caused by insulin insensitivity in the muscles, brought on by a steady diet of high glycemic foods as occur in the North American fast food diet. These foods spike your blood sugar repeatedly which causes huge shots of insulin again and again until the muscles simply become acclimatized to that much insulin and stop taking up the blood sugar. So it goes onto the belly as fat.

So the trick is to change your eating habits, do some reasonable exercise and take food supplements so you get the minerals the body needs to help reverse your insulin resistance.

Cutting out carbs for 5 days in a program that doesn't create hunger and then gradually re-introducing complex, low GI carbs is a plan that has helped thousands to recover from chronic overweight.

Burn That Fat - Never Go Hungry - The Golden Path To Healthy Weight Loss!

Do you truly want to lose weight?

Well there's a secret… but I'm not going to tell you till the end of this article. You have to wade through all of the boring stuff first to get to the real gold. That's how it works. You can't just open a novel and read the last page.

Or what if you went to a movie and they just showed the closing scene? You'd feel totally ripped off…right?

So here are a few things you can try… I found them in other articles. They're all a part of the solution… you'll find them beneficial, but they won't really do the job for you. They won't take off the weight you want to lose.

Here's one:

* "Weight loss is a time-consuming and difficult process, but one that can be made easier if you are ready to adapt to lifestyle changes..."

No! No! No! I'm going to show you how weight loss can be easy, painless and healthy. You'll make a few minor changes in what you eat but it doesn't need to be a struggle.

* "Stop Chasing the Latest Fad Diet"

This is good advice, because generally diets make you fat. You lose the weight but even more comes back on.

* "Get up off the Couch and Start Exercising"

More good advice! Moderat cardio-vascular exercise promotes hormones in the body that improve the function of insulin and move your blood sugar into your muscles instead of onto your belly.

But you need to do enormous amounts of exercise for this alone to do the weight loss job. Not a lot of fun in that!

* "Eat Right, Eat Slowly and Eat Healthy"

More good advice… but not for now. This is for later, after you've lost the weight and want to maintain your new weight.

There's only one way that I know of that absolutely makes weight loss easy and permanent.

You absolutely cannot afford to get hungry while you're trying to lose weight. It spells disaster and is the "Number One" reason that will cause you to fall off your weight loss program.

Ideally you want an eating plan that is economically feasible, takes off weight at a satisfyingly fast pace, and does it in such a way that you get all of your nutrition needs met, lose significant weight starting with your belly first and you never go hungry in the process.

I can show you how to do that!

Burn That Fat - How To Lose 10 Pounds In 10 Days!

10 pounds in 10 days! Everyone seems to like this formula! It has a certain ring to it, doesn't it?

Here's what I hear:

"I've got a wedding coming up in 2 weeks and I need to lose 10 pounds to fit into my outfit… and I can't afford a new one."

Or: "If I can't lose it fast then I don't want to do it… it's just too much torture!"

Is it possible to lose 10 pounds in 10 days?

Of course it is!

Let's look at how we might do this:

First off… I think exercise is totally out of the question!

If you're already fit enough to do the exercise to lose 10 pounds that fast then you won't be carrying the 10 pounds to start with. The rest of us will die of exhaustion along the way. It's really, really difficult to bring off big time weight loss short term with exercise.

O.K! Idea Number 2: You can fast for 10 days. Wouldn't be fun, but if there's a diet to help you lose 10 pounds in 10 days then fasting has to be faster. Problem is you'd assume a serious health risk and the weight loss would be mostly water and muscle anyway. Your body will think there's a famine so will hang onto the fat.

Variation on Number 2: Go on a really demanding diet. Same problems.

Or you can try the lemonade and maple syrup diet! Dangerous to your system too, but doesn't require the same discipline or create the same pain as the fasting or really lo-cal diet because the sugar in the maple syrup curbs the hunger somewhat. But at the end of it you've totally screwed up your system, spiked your blood sugar all day and you'll just put it all back on as fat again anyway.

But sugar isn't as damaging as highly refined carbs. Your body runs on glucose and most sugar we eat is sucrose. … it converts to glucose in the blood more slowly than carbs. Carbs are vicious… they start converting to glucose in the mouth as soon as they encounter your saliva.

But you will look good for the wedding!

There's another way that will take off the 10 pounds in 10 days and put you in position to continue losing weight at a steady rate until you hit your ideal target.

You have to change your eating habits, eliminate refined carbs, stop spiking your blood sugar and insulin systems, if you are going to take control of the fat making processes of your body.

Ideally you want an eating plan that does all of that in such a way that you get all of your nutrition needs met, lose significant weight starting with your belly first and you never go hungry in the process.

I can show you how to do that!

The South Beach Diet - Does It Really Work?

Sounds good… hang at the beach all day and get thin! Maybe get a walk-on part in Baywatch?

Perhaps not! Unfortunately this diet plan has nothing to do with hangin' at the beach other than the fact that Dr. Agatston, who created the South Beach diet lives or practices medicine in South Beach, Florida.

What is the South Beach Diet?

It's a diet that shoots to achieve a healthy balance between carbohydrates and fats--good carbs and good fats. Highly processed foods like baked goods, sweets, and soft drinks spike our blood sugar. In those who are susceptible they create carbohydrate addiction and eventually lead to insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. Sugars in the blood stop being effectively absorbed by the muscles and instead get converted to fat and deposited around the belly.

Dr. Agatston says that decreasing the highly processed carbs in your diet can help you reverse this syndrome and improve insulin resistance, leading to weight loss.

So here's the big question… does it work?

Yes… it does seem to get results.

The diet is founded on the principle that high-glycemic carbohydrates-those with a glycemic index of 55 or higher such as white bread, potatoes and white rice (which Dr. Agatston calls bad carbs) lead to weight gain and eventual diabetes and heart disease.

On the South Beach Diet you would consume more low-glycemic carbs, or good carbs, such as whole grains and vegetables. These are absorbed gradually into the blood stream and so don't trigger the spikes in your sugar/insulin cycle.

Amazingly the weight loss benefits of this diet are a secondary outcome; they were not the original intention. Dr. Agatston designed his diet to help his cardiac patients maintain a healthy lifestyle and lose weight. When lots of patients began to report positive weight loss he decided he was onto something and quickly dashed off the book.

You work the diet in three phases, which initially restrict certain foods and then restore them to your diet.

In Phase 1, which lasts 14 days you eliminate most of the carbs from your diet and instead you eat protein-rich foods, such as lean meats, chicken, fish, nuts, cheese, eggs, vegetables and olive oil.

Cravings for bad carbohydrates should be eliminated by the end of this phase.

The second phase lasts until you reach your target weight, and is less restrictive than Phase 1. Shoot to lose one to two pounds per week.

You can eat good carbs like whole grain breads, sweet potatoes, brown rice, pasta and fruit. You can also have chocolate and wine in moderate amounts.

Once you hit your target weight you should be coasting. The diet becomes part of your life style, you're eating complex carbs again and the carb cravings should be gone.

All in all this is quite a successful diet, not too limiting or restrictive and you will lose weight.

On the other side of the coin, people become frustrated with the time involved in preparing the meals. As well as that, this is not a low cost diet solution… some of the recommended foods can be quite expensive.

Bottom line… this doesn't seem to be a diet that people are inclined to get into for the rest of their life. It's work intensive and somewhat expensive. It's my experience that if a diet gets too complex to prepare and maintain then people don't persist and they don't achieve their desired result.

Much better would be a plan that is low cost, simple, everything is prepackaged and prepared for you and you would be happy to stay on it for life; a diet that is healthy, tasty, satisfying and allows you to lose those pounds and easily maintain a healthy weight long term… and you would never need to go hungry.

If you're interested I can show you a plan like that.

The Atkins Diet - How Good Is It Really?

The Atkins Diet is one of the most popular diets around, but it has been in for a lot of criticism too. Medical experts can't agree. Some say it's excellent and others think it's dangerous.

The safe approach is that you can lose weight on the plan but you should only stay on it for a short time.

However lots of people have lost weight on this program… so what's all the noise about?

It's about the fat in the diet!

The Atkins diet is very high in fat… in fact it's at the opposite extreme to the low-fat hi-carb diet that was popular not so long ago.

We want to lose weight, but lots of people, especially those with a cholesterol issue, just don't want to risk all that fat in their diet.

"But"… say the Atkins supporters, "we don't use saturated fats. We concentrate on the good fats like olive oil". And they have a point! Mood control and proper brain function require some of the components found in these "good" fats. But it seems to me there's a lot of fatty meats involved.

And then there's the exercise question… mild aerobic exercise like walking 20 to 30 minutes, three to five times a week has a highly beneficial impact on reducing insulin resistance, which is key to burning off that fat.

The Atkins plan is criticized for its focus on food without giving enough attention to the exercise component. This isn't entirely accurate because exercise is mentioned in the Atkins plan, but the major emphasis is placed on changing our food choices.

Maintaining the Atkins diet plan over the long haul can also be a challenge for some because of the high fat content, but others say this isn't a problem because the food is more flavorful than lo-cal foods and helps to suppress appetite.

And what about the bad breath and constipation… not attractive personal characteristics to be carrying around with us!

Very few people seem to be able to stick with this diet plan for the long term and seem to gain back the weight once they quit. And there are definitely some potential health risks with the high fat component.

Bottom line… this doesn't seem to be a diet you can get into for the rest of your life.

It seems to me that most people approach a diet as something they can work for a while, lose some weight and then quit and go back to their old ways. Diets are just too restrictive for most people.

Much better would be a plan you can stay on for life; a diet that is healthy, tasty, satisfying and allows you to lose those pounds and easily maintain a healthy weight long term… and you never need to go hungry.

If you're interested I can show you a plan like that.

Burn That Fat - Never Go Hungry - Here's a Surefire Plan!

Have you ever found yourself here?

You gain weight, you hate the way you look, you feel dreadful, your clothes don't fit… it's time to diet.

So you hear about the new super diet and you get all excited and try that. You feel hungry all the time on the diet so you pretty soon fall off the wagon… but then… to your dismay… you put on more than you lost.!

And the cycle repeats!

What's happening here?

Pretty simple but not so obvious. Diet's don't make you thin… they make you fat!

When you eat less to lose weight your body goes onto "famine alert". It says: "Wow, there must be a shortage of food. I'd better conserve". And your body reaches out and dials in a lower metabolic rate to make the food go further.

You don't just want to lose the weight… what you really want is to lose the fat. If you drop your weight quickly you lose water, muscle and other lean tissue that makes up 25% of what you lose.

Why is this?

Your body conserves fat in case there's a famine… it's in your genes. So if your body thinks there's a famine happening, it will actually break down muscle and lose water to protect those fat reserves.

On top of that if you get on a fast track weight loss program by eating a lot less and then go back to eating normally, a much higher percentage of the food you eat is laid down as fat.

Why?

Because your body is playing it safe… it's preparing for the next famine… just in case!

And then there's your metabolism. When you crash diet, your metabolism slows down to conserve energy and eke the most out of the meager amounts you're feeding it. When you go back to eating normally your metabolism stays at the slower rate… you store more fat!

So what are we to do?

Well the trick is to eat in such a way that you lose weight… but your body doesn't panic.

Don't crash diet! Be willing to give the process a chance. The real enemy in the equation is the typical North American fast food diet rich in highly processed carbohydrates… not to forget all those low fat, high carb snacks like low fat chips.

It's the carbs that do you in. They spike your blood sugar levels repeatedly and eventually you become insulin insensitive and can't metabolize the sugars in your bloodstream. They get converted to fat instead of energy and muscle.

The secret to success is to get off highly processed carbs completely and then over time re-introduced them in their natural complex form. (Potatoes are bad, bad, bad… they're just waiting in ambush to bring you down).

I can show you how to reverse that carbohydrate addiction and as a bonus lose up to 5 pounds or more in 5 days.

You will lose your food cravings and not go hungry. It's true! We have huge success with this program.

I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction and losing weight.

Burn That Fat---Never Go Hungry--Here's how to do it!

I don't know anyone who wants to battle those hunger cravings while they're on a diet.

How about you?

The last thing we want in a diet is to have to be disciplined, white knuckle it, hang in there and hope we'll be strong… it just isn't fun! In fact it's misery!

And every time, somewhere along the way, we break down and reach for those carbs… our old and trusted friend that brings us comfort in the dark times. And all the weight we've lost comes rushing back on.

Is that a familiar story?

Those carbohydrates are not really your friends. In fact they're your enemy.

They stroll on in, all smiles saying: "Hi there good lookin', you seem down today. Let me make you feel better". Here… have some of this delicious cake. You eat the carbs and before you know it you've fallen off your diet plan.

Now you know you're worthless… you've failed again!

So what can we do to make this easier?

The thing is very simply this… carbs make you hungry and carbs create fat.

I can go into all of the body chemistry about why this is so… and I have done in lots of articles… but I don't think most people really care.

So let's look at it this way: Carbohydrates are highly addictive. They're as bad or worse than alcohol and drugs. Not everyone is set up to get addicted to carbohydrates, but if you are susceptible then carbohydrates will take you down.

It's not your fault!!!

You fall into this trap by accident. After all, carbs are food and we all like food. And carbs are delicious and satisfying.

But carbs screw with our insulin/sugar cycles and eventually (often it takes years) we become "insulin insensitive" and our muscles and lean tissue can no longer take up the glucose in our bloodstream. The glucose is then deposited as fat around our belly and in our liver.

At this point in our lives we can actually begin to eat less calories and gain weight.

If we continue to eat a diet rich in highly processed carbohydrates, we will continue to gain weight and eventually contract Diabetes 2 and heart disease.

We hear a lot of talk about high glycemic foods these days. These are foods which are quickly and easily converted into glucose in our blood by our stomach. They spike our blood sugar levels way above the normal operating range and trigger massive inflows of insulin to our system. This is how the problem starts and continues.

The solution is very simple. Get off those high glycemic foods and get onto a diet rich in protein, fruits, vegetables and unprocessed natural grains.

I can show you how to reverse that carbohydrate addiction and as a bonus lose up to 5 pounds or more in 5 days.

You will lose your food cravings and not go hungry. If you continue with the program for 12 weeks or more you will almost certainly lose significant amounts of weight and begin to restore your health.

I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight -Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction and losing weight.

Burn That Fat--2 Secret Weapons to Guarantee Success!

Losing weight is hard enough for God's sake… but when we're operating in the dark it seems totally hopeless.

We need to understand why we've failed with our weight loss efforts in the past… and we need to learn how we can make weight loss easy so we can have permanent success.

I mean… why make this a struggle when it doesn't have to be?

We need some special help… right?

So here are your secret weapons:

1. There are specific high "glycemic foods" that are keeping you overweight… your first weapon is learning what they are and how they do that.

2. Carbohydrate cravings are your biggest enemy. Your second secret weapon is the plan we will show you to overcome these cravings!

If you want to know exactly how to make this happen in the next five days then just click my link below… it's all in my free book.

But let's get on with the article:

Here's a question you might be asking: "How come after a diet, I just seem to put all the weight back on again?

The sad reality of our times is that if you are chronically overweight, then its almost certain that you are on the North American diet most typified by the McDonald's fast food meal… maybe "low in fat" these days, but bursting at the seams with highly processed carbohydrates and sugars.

Doesn't matter if it's a fish burger or a lean chicken burger… it's the fries, the buns the desserts and the drinks that are doing you in! This doesn't make you a bad person… it just means that, like the rest of us, you have been suckered in by the advertising.

Here's why it's so important for you to understand what's happening to your body… the North American Diet has made your body insensitive to insulin and insulin is the key to successful weight loss and control of diabetes Type 2.

This is how it happens and why it's so bad:

When you eat, the food in your stomach gets converted into glucose that moves into your bloodstream. This is the food that your brain, your muscles and your tissues need in order to survive and grow.

When glucose enters your bloodstream, your pancreas responds by releasing insulin into your blood. Insulin is needed to allow the glucose to enter your cells. There, it is broken down to produce the energy needed for your cells to work properly.

When your system is functioning normally, insulin will open the door to the cells to let the glucose produced from your food to enter; and it allows extra sugar to be stored as energy for future use. It can be stored in the liver, in the form of glycogen, or deposited in fat cells.

A diet high in processed carbohydrates (which contain very little fiber) continually spikes your blood sugar to very high levels in short periods of time which causes your pancreas to kick in a big shot of insulin to move this excess of sugar into your muscles etc.

Usually, way too much insulin is produced, so now your blood sugar levels drop below optimum. The brain panics and demands more glucose, you get carb cravings, so you reach for those carb rich foods again… and the game is on.

You quickly become addicted to carbohydrates… the craving takes you over and you have to eat.

This repeated cycle has several serious consequences. If you continue on this carb rich diet then, over time your muscles will become insulin intolerant and no longer accept the glucose, which then gets deposited as fat in your liver and around your stomach.

You have reached what is called "metabolic syndrome".

You don't increase your food intake (still carbohydrate rich foods) but you start to put on fat continuously, especially around your belly.

Eventually, your pancreas becomes exhausted and can't produce enough insulin… and you have contracted Type 2 Diabetes. Now you need to begin insulin injections.

But wait…there's good news… all of this can be reversed!

I can show you how to do this!

In five days you can remove those carbohydrate cravings, lose weight and never go hungry! Read my book "Lose Weight -Never Go Hungry" You can download it FREE here: "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry"

Lose Weight Now-Burn that Fat-Here's the Secret!

We don't just want to lose any old weight…right? We want to keep our muscles, bones, organs and brain intact.

We want to shed that fat!

Well here's the problem with a low calorie diet… the first thing to go is your muscle tissue and the last thing to go is the fat… especially that fat around your belly.

A low calorie diet is such a struggle. It takes gallons of will power to stick through the hunger and food cravings. You see when you deprive it of food your body thinks there's a famine out there and it gets itself prepared. It makes you hungry… "gimme some food" is what it screams at you.

But worse than that, because it thinks there's a famine, your body begins to store your food as fat.

So what happens? You lose weight but you grow bigger. Your body stores your food as fat and starts to consume your lean tissue. Lean tissue weighs more than fat so the scale shows you've lost weight while your tape measure says "no, no, no".

Now here's the really unfair part:

If you've been on a high glycemic/high carbohydrate diet for a long time then you've probably gotten your body to a state of insulin insensitivity. If you're insulin insensitive then your metabolism can no longer adequately control your blood sugar levels.

A high-glycemic diet is what gets us to this stage. Processed carbohydrates and sugars cause a very fast elevation in our blood sugar levels (spiking your blood sugar). Then we get a shot of insulin… too much insulin if we drove the blood sugar levels very high. Our blood sugar goes too low from the impact of too much insulin, we get the craving and we go for the carbs again… and round it goes.

Pretty soon it takes more and more insulin to bring those levels down until eventually it doesn't work anymore.

We become "insulin insensitive" because we're getting too much insulin all the time and it takes more and more insulin to bring down the blood sugar levels… until eventually it just can't do the job anymore.

Then the muscles become insulin insensitive and the calories don't feed the muscles anymore… so they get turned into fat around our belly. Your belly starts to grow first and it continues to grow until you stop consuming those high-glycemic foods.

At this point you've become addicted to carbohydrates. You crave food all the time and you reach for carbs because they give the biggest hit… they go straight to the blood sugar and the cycle is running again.

The surprising thing is that if you eliminate high-glycemic foods from your diet you can remove those carb craving in as little as five days and start losing weight off your belly immediately. You won't feel hungry and you won't need any will power!

It will happen like magic… and I can show you how.

I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight -Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction and losing weight permanently. You can download it FREE here: "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry"

Diabeties and Obesity... What you can do!

Hi There:

I guess we all know that diabetes is now an epidemic. It is generally the outcome of the road we travel through poor food choices to chronic overweight and obesity.

You get overweight because you take in more calories than you consume. It’s just that simple.

But what drives us to overeat is the real monster lurking in the shadows.

Being overweight can seriously endanger your health. If you’re overweight and obese you are at high risk for developing a number of potentially serious health problems.

Being overweight and being obese are just points on the scale. Obesity is a degree of being overweight. Hit 20% or more above your ideal body weight, and you’re considered obese. You hit overweight on the way to becoming obese.

None of these scales are universal for every body type, but they’re a pretty good indicator of where we’re headed. Body weight can come from muscle, bone, fat and/or body water … but it is the fat that puts us at risk for heart attack and our eating habits that set us up for diabetes.

We take steps along the path. Most obese people were once thin. Often it begins after pregnancy when the added weight just won’t come off. Soon we surrender and accept that we’re a few sizes larger… then a few more… another new wardrobe; and so the game plays out.

The problem really is in “how” we are eating not “how much”!

If you’d like to know more about this process and how to reverse it then click my link below and get a copy of my free book: “Lose Weight – Never Go Hungry”

There are serious dangers to being overweight:

High blood pressure. When you have excess body fat, your body retains sodium. When your body retains sodium, blood volume increases and blood pressure rises. High blood pressure causes your heart to work faster, which in turn becomes dangerous to your health.

Your probability of stroke increases—often dramatically

Osteoarthritis. Excess weight increases the stress on our joints and erodes the protective cartilage.

Weak Pelvic Muscles

Difficulty breathing, walking or sitting Accumulations of fat don’t leave enough room for your organs in your abdominal cavity.

Gallstones Overweight people appear to be more prone to gallstones.

Diabetes The Number One cause of Type 2 Diabetes is not obesity but the process that leads to obesity. A high carb, high glycemic diet sets up the condition for a body that is resistant to insulin. Eventually you need more insulin than the body can produce and you need to find it elsewhere, usually via injection. You have become diabetic.

Scary, isn't it?
But there’s hope on the horizon!

If you are obese or overweight then you know that your health is at risk. If you have contracted diabetes then your life is endangered.

Would you like to learn how to overcome these challenges?

I have recently written a book entitled “Lose Weight – Never Go Hungry” which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction.

Weight Loss Secrets – Shed Those Pounds!

Diets don’t work… so let’s talk about “eating plans” instead.

We want ways to shed our extra pounds fast and if possible… painlessly. Being very blunt… we want to lose that fat.

We know that the extra pounds come from our own lifestyles and sometimes our background. We can blame it on our metabolism; but really it’s about what we eat.

So what would be a great eating plan?

Let’s look at our alternatives:

We want our eating plan to be rich in low-carb, low glycemic foods. The Atkins diet plan focuses on low-carbs but not everyone is too happy with Atkins. High-carb, high glycemic foods especially refined foods such as white bread and white rice are absorbed faster than other foods and can lead to significant weight gain and eventually diabetes.

If you’d like to know more about this and how to overcome it then click my link below and get my free book.

And of course there are the low-calorie foods. Foods that are naturally low in calorie content are fruits and vegetables. These are sometimes labeled “negative calorie foods”. The theory goes that if we consume lots of fruits and vegetables, particularly raw vegetables, our pounds should drop very quickly because the calories we take in are less than the calories we use – so we lose weight.

The problem with this is that low calorie diets make us hungry and create a condition where we gain back more weight than we lost when we stop the diet.

But fruits and vegetables do contain vitamins and minerals that the body needs to function and keep you energized all day long. Eating vegetables need not be boring… dress them up a bit… add some light dressing and nuts.

One big issue I see looming today is that our food is depleted by our fertilizer, pesticides, herbicides and early harvesting. It just doesn’t contain the nutrients it did even 30 years ago. I am strongly in the camp that quality natural vitamin and mineral supplements are essential.

And let’s not forget protein. When we eat protein tend to feel less hungry. But watch out for those marbled fats in your meats. Choose lean cuts and substitute fish and chicken for the red meats. Codfish and trout are low in calories.

Other good additions are unsalted nuts and seeds. They’re high in protein and low in sodium and preservatives.

And add some fiber!

Fiber taken with water will make us feel full thereby suppressing the appetite to eat more. Make sure to drink 8 glasses of water a day with your fiber to get the best results.

Fats don’t necessarily put on weight… too much fat puts on the weight. The real enemy is the hunger craving triggered by high glycemic carbs.

The problem with most animal fats is that they are “saturated fats”. Saturated fats are solid at room temperature and so tend to clog up your arteries.

Unsaturated fats are usually liquid at room temperature. They are found in most vegetable products and oils. But watch out for tropical oils like coconut or palm kernel oil which are highly saturated. Using foods containing "polyunsaturated" and "monounsaturated" fats does not increase our risk of heart disease. However, like all fats, unsaturated fats give us 9 calories for every gram. So eating too much of these types of fat may also make us gain weight.

Carb cravings will drive us to binge again and again. In fact the biggest factor in excessive weight gain is “insulin insensitivity” caused by spiking our blood sugar with refined carbohydrates over a period of years.

As you'll discover in my book "Lose weight Never Go Hungry" to reverse this process and lose weight without going hungry is easy; we've got that one aced.

If you would like to know how to make this happen then I can help.

Secrets Of Weight Loss Success - All I Know About Weight Loss I Learned From Pavlov's Dog!

I know you've all heard about Pavlov's dog, but I'll bet most of you haven't heard this:

Here's what everyone knows about Pavlov's dog… the bell triggered a "give me food" reflex response. The dog then became addicted to pressing the buzzer.

Pavlov used dogs in his research on digestion. He would surgically insert a pouch attached to a tube near the salivary glands to collect and measure the amount of secretion. One of his colleagues noticed that the dog would salivate as soon as it saw or heard the assistant that fed him, before even seeing or smelling the food. At first Pavlov found this frustrating as it disrupted his results, but then wondered why this was happening.

Pavlov conducted an experiment to see if one could learn to associate a natural stimulus, such as food, with an unrelated stimulus such as ringing a bell, thus eliciting a response by the unrelated stimulus alone.

The sight or smell of food (the unconditioned stimulus) causes the dog to salivate (the natural unconditioned response).

Ordinarily a neutral stimulus, such as a bell ring, does not cause the dog to salivate. There is no food related response. The dog simply responds to the sound of the bell and may move its ears.

Pavlov found he could condition the dog to respond to the bell. He would ring the bell and immediately follow it with food. He would repeat this process several times. Eventually, the dog would salivate (conditioned response) at the sound of the bell alone (the conditioned stimulus). The dog had associated the tone with food.

Here's what most people don't know about Pavlov's dog: And it's really good news for us…

Pavlov and his associates tried many variations of this experiment:

He found that if the bell sounds several times and "no food appears"… the dog will unlearn the association and will not salivate.

This is referred to as extinction.

Here's why it's so good!!!

We can use this knowledge to take away the power of those triggers! We can unlearn the response. We can re-train our mind! We really can defeat those triggers that have held us hostage for so long!

We can make those triggers extinct!

Would you like to learn how to do this?

Secrets of Weight Loss Success - Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry!

What is the most desired feature of a diet plan?

To be able to lose weight, but never go hungry!

Am I right?

Absolutely!

It's the hunger that is the biggest challenge in most weight loss campaigns. We just don't want to subject ourselves to this torture. We want it to be easy. We don't expect pain at the dental office anymore so why should we subject ourselves to it when we try to lose some weight. I mean, for God's sake…who wants to be strong and disciplined, grit your teeth and hang in there when your body is crying out for carbs?

Those carbohydrate cravings… there's our enemy… they kick in and trip us up every time and we fall off the program… again! And then we hate ourselves and don't want to give it another try.

Of course there are the other factors like… well… just how many salads can you eat before you go mental and grow rabbit's ears… not to mention the sheer boredom of most diet plans.

Every new diet makes big promises but the sad history of diets and dieters is that the actuality of being on the diet, just doesn't create enough motivation to overcome our learned craving for carbohydrates.

So it came to me that the true way to generate success with a diet would be to implement an eating program that never caused you to go hungry. If we don't crave food all the time then we won't fall off the plan.

So what to do?

Well it appears that the whole success or failure of our efforts is directly tied into our sugar/insulin cycles… no doubt you've read lots about this?

The cause of this problem is our typical high-glycemic North American diet which is now popular around the world-a diet rich in sugar and carbohydrates: coffee and a pastry for breakfast, fries and a coke for lunch, A TV dinner and a bag of chips over TV.

Now I know that not everyone is eating like this all of the time but you'd be surprised how many people and families do.

This diet creates blood sugar spikes way above the normal optimal operating levels followed by a huge shot of insulin to bring those levels down. The insulin is overdone and stays in the system pushing our blood sugar below optimal and we crave another carbohydrate hit to get our energy back. And so it goes… day in, day out in our headlong rush toward chronic diabetes. We become insulin resistant and our body starts breaking down.

The good news is that this destructive cycle can be neutralized in as little as five days with a good balanced diet of satisfying protein rich foods with minimal carbohydrate content-what are termed "low glycemic" foods-foods that don't spike our blood sugar levels.

Follow this with a diet plan that gradually re-introduces normal meat and vegetables back into the diet and we can have this chronic problem licked.

Lose Weight Never Go Hungry - How To Painlessly Melt Off That Belly Fat!

Hi There:

Since diets don't work, let's talk about what really happens with excessive weight gain and how we can reverse it.

How To Easily Take It Off & Keep It Off? That's the main question in people's minds…

"Please make me thin by tomorrow", we cry!

You're in search of the "slim you" who seems to have disappeared. That beautiful person inside, who used to live outside… who you've given up on ever finding again!

And to do that you know you've got to lose some weight. But after countless tries you've pretty much given up. The weight loss just doesn't seem to stick. We've all been through the yo-yo diet syndrome! Lose 14 pounds in two weeks and then put it all back on again… and the despair that goes along with that.

Is this a familiar pattern?

Make sure you click on my link below and get a copy of my book. I'll show you how we can defeat this pattern.

Well then, let's look at this… how did the weight get there in the first place?

Well amazingly, the media got it right this time. It's the all American diet that has swept the world, that is the culprit. This diet rich in fats and sugars and carbohydrates, continually spikes our blood sugar and eventually leads to insulin insensitivity.

And, this is the most important part, all overweight conditions can be tied back to insulin insensitivity.

So what is "insulin insensitivity" and how does that work?

Spiking your blood sugar over an extended number of years with a high-glycemic diet is the culprit. We become "insulin insensitive" because we're getting too much insulin all the time and it takes more and more insulin to bring down the blood sugar levels… until eventually it just can't do the job anymore. It's just like anything… alcohol, cigarettes, pain killers. We become conditioned to them and it takes more to produce the same effect until eventually it's not fun anymore.

You can always get more alcohol or cigarettes or pain killers, but the body can only produce a limited amount of insulin and then it's tapped out and you've got diabetes and need to inject insulin from external sources to control your blood sugar. As well as that you start to put on weight big time even though you aren't eating anymore food.

But what is happening is that you are still eating those high-glycemic meals; fries and a coke, chips, cheezies etc.

What makes a food high-glycemic is how fast it is absorbed into the blood stream.

Amazingly (to me anyway) processed carbohydrates are far easier to absorb than pure sugar and so do more damage. Grains that have been ground to small size and sieved and have all of the roughage removed are far easier to absorb than natural unprocessed grains so they spike your sugar faster. Unprocessed grains with all their attendant husks etc. needing to be digested are slow release foods and much better for you.

The muscles become insulin insensitive first. When you tip over into this altered metabolic state the calories no longer go to feed the muscles but get turned into abdominal fat. Your belly starts to grow first and it continues to grow until you stop consuming those high-glycemic foods.

You are driven to eat those foods because you have become addicted to carbohydtates. You can reverse that craving with a tasty diet of proteins and fibre in a formula that never leaves you hungry… you are no longer craving carbs all the time.

But here is the really truly amazing thing… just one (yes "one") low-glycemic meal will begin to reverse the process… and what's even more amazing, the fat will come off your belly first. When have you ever had that result on a diet? Usually belly fat is the last thing to go.

Here's the thing: This isn't a diet… it's a totally new way of approaching eating… and it works like you will not believe.

As you'll discover in my book "Lose weight Never Go Hungry" to reverse this process and lose weight without going hungry is easy; we've got that one aced.

If you would like to know how to make this happen then I can help.

I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight - Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction.

Lose Weight Never Go Hungry - Little Known Secret - How To Easily Take It Off & Keep It Off!

We're on an exciting quest!

We're in search of the "new slim you". That beautiful person inside that you've given up on ever finding again!

And to do that you know you've got to lose some weight. But after countless tries you've pretty much given up. The weight loss just doesn't seem to stick.

Is this a familiar pattern?

The real secret to losing weight is not just shedding those pounds… lots of diets will do that for you. We've all been through the yo-yo diet syndrome! Lose 14 pounds in two weeks and then put it all back on again… and the despair that goes along with that.

The trick is to sustain that weight loss over time; to take it off and this time to keep it off!

But how are we going to do that?

We'll show you how! Here's the plan:

* Easily lose those carb cravings!

* Shed those pounds without feeling hungry!

* Effortlessly maintain that weight loss over time!

If you can't wait to find out how then click my link below and get my free book: "Lose weight Never Go Hungry".

As you'll discover in my book, to lose weight without hunger is easy; we've got that one aced. It's the long term game where most of us fall down.

We really have three jobs to do:

* Keep losing weight until we reach our target weight.

* Keep those carb cravings at bay long term.

* Re-condition our brain so we're no longer held hostage by those triggers that in the past have caused us to fall off our program.

So here's the really big secret:

If we can keep those carb cravings at bay for a while our brain will change the way it responds to those triggers.

The triggers will lose their power and we'll be free.

This is where Pavlov's Dog can help us.

What does everyone know about Pavlov's dog? Pavlov rang the bell then gave the dog food. After a while the dog began to associate the bell with food. The bell triggered a "give me food" reflex response. The dog then became addicted to pressing the bell.

Pavlov had established a "Gimme Food" trigger in his dog.

But here's what most people don't know about Pavlov's dog, and it's really good news for us.

Pavlov found that if the bell sounds several times and "no food appears"… the dog will unlearn the association and will not salivate. The circuits in the dog's brain actually changed the way they respond to the bell's ringing.

We can do the same!!!

If we can keep those carbs at bay for awhile we can take away the power of those triggers! We can unlearn the response. We can re-train our mind! We really can defeat those triggers that have held us hostage for so long!

If you would like to know how to make this happen then I can help.

I have recently written a book entitled "Lose Weight -Never Go Hungry" which lays out a plan for overcoming carbohydrate addiction.
